Client-Centric Strategies©

Client-Centric Strategies© is a current, modular virtual education program that addresses modern coaching and problem-solving practices for working with people who may present multiple service challenges. Delivered in partnership with the Ontario Municipal Social Services Association (OMSSA), CCS© is a competency-based, facilitator-led series of workshops that employ multi-media, interactive methods of participation and engagement. Intended for human services professional working with people experiencing a wide range of social and economic trauma, including mental health and addictions issues, trauma, scarcity, poverty and social exclusion. Features MicroCoaching™, a three-dimensional coaching model that helps coaches and coachees attend to prominent issues and needs while maintaining a holistic understanding of client assets, strengths and resources. Also features workplace normalization tools and strategies, including pre- and post learning event self-assessment, skills application planning documents and workplace competency application tools.

Client-Centric Approaches©

A classroom-based, facilitator-led professional development program designed for the City of Ottawa Employment and Social Services for approximately 600 management and staff in coaching social services clients in their pursuit of life stabilization, employability improvement and employment.

Supportive Approaches through Innovative Learning

Winner of the Deputy-Minister’s Bravo Award for Innovation and Creativity (SAIL), this program was implemented as the standard for professional development in social services delivery agencies across Canada’s largest province, Ontario. SAIL is a competency-based program that features 41 different competencies considered vital for engaging disadvantaged adults and youth in programs directed to their achievement of independence from social assistance.
